When I was teaching EFL to Austrians, far and away the hardest sound for them to produce was 'th'.

FIX PROBLEM English Sound Common Error
(Voiceless. Friction.) Put tongue between the teeth or stick tongue out and breathe. 'thin', 'these', 'this' 'din', 'dese' 'dis'
as above 'sin', 'sese', 'sis'

The 'th' sound is a lot of fun The 'th' sound is a lot of fun to remedy in the classroom - especially when the students are CEO/CFO/CTOs! - when you have them all sticking their tongue out as far as possible and spluttering all over the place. Exaggerate it and they'll remember it!

Vic says:

Put your tongue between your teeth and say sugar, then you're almost getting there...
